Course Objective
This course aims to equip individuals with the necessary knowledge and understanding to ensure both their own safety and the safety of their staff members while working with or supervising the usage of portable density moisture gauges containing radioactive material. Course Structure
The program has been structured as an independent set of modules with no prerequisites. Following an introduction to various aspects of radiation, the course progresses through principles and safe practices related to management and use of PDMG. Completion of this course is mandatory for whoever needs to apply for a use licence to operate portable nuclear gauges. This course is aligned with the Code of Practice for Portable Density Moisture Gauges Containing Radioactive Sources.Course Content

Assessment
There are multiple practical exercises and competency tests that will be assigned to attendees throughout the day.
