Radiation Protection for users of Fixed Radiation Gauges

Course Objective

This 2-day radiation safety course is designed for personnel responsible for managing fixed radiation gauges and overseeing radiation safety practices on-site. It is suitable for individuals working in industries such as Oil & Gas, Mining, and other sectors where fixed radiation gauges are utilized. The course is aligned with the Code of Practice and Safety Guide for the Safe Use of Fixed Radiation Gauges. Completion of this course fulfills the training requirements for individuals seeking a license to use fixed radiation gauges in industrial settings and to act as a workplace Radiation Safety Officer (RSO) for these gauges. Typical sectors that utilise fixed gauges:
